The Texas Medical Board is in the middle of an investigation into whether a medical college board game is too complicated to teach in Texas.
In a press release Tuesday, the board said it is examining how to improve its “standard operating procedure” in handling cases where students are playing cards.
Board member James T. Stinson said in a statement that the board’s staff is reviewing the board games, including The Game of Life, which is a board game of varying difficulty.
Board members have been asked to review the games, he said.
Board officials said they would review the boards standards to determine whether the games are too complicated.
