The board game craze is alive and well in India.
A few years ago, many people thought that Indian games had gone away, but the truth is that there is a vibrant market for games and its growth is not slowing down anytime soon.
The BoardGameGeek website has more than 1,500 games in its database, including games like Boggle, Rummy, Pong, Boggle II, Braid, Rime and Rime 2.
The list of top games is impressive.
There are games like Go, Chess, Go for the iPad, and Go for Android.
Many other popular board games like Monopoly, Monopoly 2000, Scrabble and even Monopoly: Monopoly Deluxe have been added to the database.
Board games are a popular source of income for the Indian government, which is also looking to increase its revenues.
The board game market in India has grown from $2.3 billion in 2015 to $3.8 billion in 2019.
According to a recent study by India’s Central Board of Film Certification, the industry is worth $1.5 billion per year, and that is expected to grow to $4.3bn by 2022.
India has also become a hub for game companies and manufacturers in the US, as the popularity of video games is growing in the country.
In 2017, India’s video game industry saw its largest year-on-year growth in two decades, according to a study by the Entertainment Software Association.
India’s biggest board game company, BoardGameGuru, has more offices in the United States than anywhere else.
In a recent interview, BoardgameGuru CEO and CEO Sundar Pichai talked about India’s burgeoning game market.
He said, “Indian companies like BoardGame Guru have been doing great work with Indian developers, but Indian consumers and consumers of board games are not yet ready for them.”
The board games that have been created in India have come from many different countries.
In the US and Canada, Board Game Guru’s games are mostly made in India and China.
The Indian games that are made in the U.S. and Canada are also made in China, with Indian players being the biggest buyers.
Pichai said that the success of board game development in India depends on the number of gamers, and he pointed out that BoardGame Gurus game is being sold to over 4 million Indian gamers.
It is not just about India alone, however.
Pichais said that India has a lot of gamers from countries like the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
Picking up the game, Pichias said, it is important to be aware of where the game comes from.
Board Game Gurus games have been made in Europe and Asia, so we will see what comes next.
We will see if Indian games become more popular or if we will get stuck in a cycle of the games being developed in India, he added.
India’s board game industry is also growing, with more than 600 games being published.
Board game companies are not just investing in the industry in India; they are also investing in other parts of the world.
Board Game Guru is looking to make more games in the coming years.
Pachikal, the CEO, told me, “India is the best market for Board Game developers, because Indian gamers are the biggest audience and we have the best marketing infrastructure.”
He said that he is currently working on a project to produce new games for the U,S.
BoardGameGurus board game is a collaboration between Pachakal, a game designer, and a board game developer, with the goal of producing a brand new board game, the game to be called Monopoly.
The company is currently in the process of working on two games, one based on the popular Monopoly board game from the 1990s, and another one that is based on newer game technology.
Puchal told me that the team is also working on new games that will be released in the future.
Board Games Gurus has already worked on two board game projects for the US market.
In 2016, Pachkal and Pachihal worked on a new Monopoly game for the United Nations, and the next year, they worked on another board game called Monologues.
PChakal said that they have already started to produce Monopoly games, but he is waiting for an agreement with a U.K. board game publisher before releasing a game for their home market.
BoardGame Guru plans to make its board game debut in the Indian market in the near future.
